Reminders – Camps, Clinics, etc.

Hello Everyone:

Few Reminders

Importance of Summer Camp:
During the months of June and July, the coaching staff utilizes that time for four purposes: Physically prepare the athletes for the fall season, teaching (Schemes, Techniques, Expectations), evaluating players, and building relationships with their teammates. The evaluation component is an ongoing process, and it starts on day one of camp. It is highly recommended that your son attends camp and does not miss. Athletes that miss camp or do not attend will not be physically prepared, they won’t understand the schemes and techniques, and will miss crucial time for team building and evaluations. Please do all that you can to schedule vacation on the weeks that we are not in session for camp and the time between camp and fall practice. I understand this huge undertaking for the athletes and the family. It is a huge undertaking for the coaches as well. I have attached a tentative calendar for you to reference.

Summer Camp:
Please do not forget to sign up your child for camp. I do not want the cost of camp to get stop you from signing up your child for camp. Please let me know if you need financial assistance for paying for camp. Athletes will not be issued camp gear and equipment if they are not registered. All camp gear and equipment will be distributed for current frosh-juniors during the week of finals. Incoming freshmen will be issued gear and equipment on the first day of camp.

Team Shop:
The online team shop has lots of gear the kids like to wear for the season. None of the items are mandatory for purchase. However, the items on the team shop are sold at a discounted price. This is extremely beneficial, especially with the cost cleats being so high. Please remember that all game day cleats MUST have a base color of white with an accent color of blue, red, gray, silver, or black. Link to team shop:

Parent Meeting:
The Parent Meeting should be attended by all parents, incoming frosh to current juniors. The meeting will be MAY 31st at 7PM in the commons (Lunch Room). Athletes can attend.
